Today is World AIDS Day! Wear red in honor of HIV/AIDS awareness. This year’s theme is “Getting to Zero.” Zero AIDS-related deaths. Zero new infections. Zero discrimination. Spread hope and love, not the virus!

Matt Nathanson - Room at the End of the World

This summer, I spent two weeks studying clinical medicine in Taiwan. One of the most enlightening things I learned was the amount of respect they give to those that have donated their bodies to the medical universities. Students are assigned to a specific person, interview the families of the donor, and they have a ceremony to share the life and accomplishments of the donor with their peers and families. It’s emotional, but appreciated by all involved. I’d like for the United States to adopt this practice in the future. :)

The beauty of God is that He loves each and every one of us - even if some of us forget to appreciate Him in our best times. Read The Shack by William P. Young. It helped me see God in a whole new light.

Fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac presented his 2011 spring collection at Paris Fashion Week, and included some fashions inspired by “The Little Prince” (my favorite book!).

All profits from sales of these creations will go to the Fondation Antoine de Saint-Exupery for youth. So cool!
